"Chickadee-N-Cockadoodledoo" from the "Annie and the Hot Club Play the Music of Tom Sturdevant" album won fourth place for "Jazz Vocal Song" in a contest of 500,000 entries. There were 10,000 judges in the largest music awards EVER - the humbly titled the "Just Plain Folks Music Awards".

That song was fun to record and is fun to perform. I never had any idea it would become the most popular track from the album. Check THIS out - my husband and I were in a bar in Bloomberg, Germany where we had just performed and we heard a guitar jam going on in a dark corner. A young german girl stands up and sings with them. She did two songs: "Honeysuckle Rose" and "Chickadee-N-Cockadoodledoo". My mind was blown. This song, my friends, is sweeping the globe....Chickadee. Ha!
